Founded in 1924, BHT is a non-profit theatre organization that raises money for local NYC charities through our performances. As a current board member I serve as Corresponding Secretary, and over the years I've been Chair of the Entertainment Committee, in charge of planning and running internal troupe events; a member of the Membership committee, tasked with recruitment and retainment; and a member of the Professional Resources Committee, which interviews and hires professional staff for shows. I've also been head of the props and set painting departments as well as assistant stage manager for several shows, including Once Upon a Mattress, The Addams Family, The Grand Duke, Urinetown, Anything Goes, and more.
